I am a fiber artist living  in Fairview, NC in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  From my studio, I watch the seasons change, marching up the mountains in spring, down the mountains in fall.  I watch birds perch, flowers bloom, vegetables grow, and clouds shift.

My embroidery designs are inspired by the color and imagery of the mountain landscape.  The images on this website show examples of my work.  Read on to learn about my work and the stitch technique I have developed.

I became a juried member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild in 2008.  I was juried into the Piedmont Craftsmen in 2010.  My work can be seen at the Folk Art Center and the Guild Crafts Shop in Asheville and at the Piedmont Craftsmen shop in Winston Salem.
